Soccearth is a way of understanding the sizes of small things. Imagine a soccer ball blown up to the size of the Earth. What would things look like? That is the place we call Soccearth.

The cell membrane on Soccearth is a soft flexible wall about 15 cm thick. That is about the same thickness as the wall of this "bouncy castle". Remember that in a cell there is another stronger wall on the outside of the membrane.
