Future of Galaxy

At about the same time as the Sun and Earth die, the Andromeda galaxy may collide with our Galaxy, creating a great deal of confusion. The Galaxy contains so much hydrogen that we can expect it to make new stars for a long time to come.

Many billions of years from now the Galaxy will run out of hydrogen atoms. The stars will die and no more will be born. The major problem for intelligence then will be where to get its energy from. We guess that by then technology will be so advanced that sources of energy unknown to us will be discovered.
