THE FORMING OF UNIVERSES This is but a basic reference for myself so that I may have something to refer back to in the future. Introduction: At the begining there was nothing, nothing moving, nothing stationary, then something happened, space itself moved, the emptiness, the true vacuum, became a false vacuum, the emptiness became less empty and so not. within the vacuum there was now matter, a small amount and in a very small space it is true, but then this matter was expanding and dissipating, space was gaining structure. the matter was forming into gasses, fluids and solids, the radiation was now moving, and weakening, life would soon have the right conditions to be able to form. What I want to know is what happened to cause the space to move and create matter....it is not easy to say the least... To start with, the workings of this Universe are extremely complicated, but if you ignore all the detail and concentrate on the plain facts and theories, then all, may, be simplified. This Universe was initially started by what we like to call the 'Big Bang', and we do have evidence that this actually occurred (background radiation, Universal expansion, e.t.c.), So if there was a 'Big Bang' then the cause should in theory be fairly simple to diagnose, for we can see the after effect, we have learned which gasses(helium, hydrogen, e.t.c., (which-ever)) were present in the causality of the 'Bang', and so we should from this be able to gauge what occurred moments before, however, this seems too much for the simple minds of most humans (and as whales or dolphins are not about to tell all, then I guess we must be, at least for now, stumped!). So, basically, the mixing of these volatile gasses caused an explosion, the 'Big Bang', the question though, is not, "what is the cause"?, more, "from where did this cause originate"?, as in, "where did these gasses come from, exactly"?. Then you are looking back to even beyond the point of your start, for now the evidence that, at least in some way, is all around us to view, has been through a rather impressive explosion and fifteen billion years of evolution!! Also the Universe is not really important when you view the whole of the Macrocosmos, now why ask how this Universe was created when you really need to know how the Macrocosmos was created. If you found this answer, you would then have the answer to the Universe question. Also, there is one rather large problem with the word, 'created', you cannot 'create' anything, all you can do is to re-organize the atomic structure. So, if creation is impossible, the theories, of the 'beginning' of the Universe, would not I fear, stand up in court!!! Unfortunately, my theory of 'it being impossible to create or destroy' seems to have been wrong. I found this out at a very informative web site only recently and will list the address of this below. Now, apparently you must have some very specific circumstances for this to happen, but, you can have matter and anti matter appearing and then destroying one-another, this of course is far from what I had thought possible and I find myself being constantly suprised when working on this subject.
Theory a: GOD As in 'Jehova','Iehova', or whatever name he/she/it is going by these days! Question: if you were God, nothing but light has been 'created', What would you do??, What would you 'create'? Would one of the first things you make be, maybe, a Universe? Or maybe, a wife/husband/lover? Some company that is akin to yourself, at least, surely. Naturally, if you were to indeed create some-body as company, then would that company know all that you know?? For your creation is but a vessel of your knowledge. Surely, all you can pass on, with no other influences, is what you know, if you seek new life or energy or knowledge you must let that grow in its own fashion, other-wise you would be making only a carbon copy of your-self (I wonder, would you like to spend infinity with your-self? (I doubt even God would like that!)). Now, if God had created the Universe simply for the growth of some companionship, then this would explain a lot, if he/she/it wanted some company then he/she/it would have to let it grow at its own speed, thus gaining its own knowledge and opinions. Of course the thing with God is that he/she/it never answers questions, if you wish a question answered you must do the math and so learn the answer to the afore said question on your own. Now, as you are left with no positive theory, you must now go into, at least some small detail, for as with 'a', if God indeed had been in creation before the Universe, then how long before he/she/it got bored of the dark and realized that it would in fact go away if he/she/it created some stars and so the Universe. Were it a great amount of time would it be measurable as the Universe and so time itself would not, as yet, exist? Of course this is a matter of deliberation and though it were wished you could never easily come to a reliable conclusion, however, if you do indeed consider that something must have created God then you are indeed left with that problem of going beyond the point where you started and now the problem is, what occurred before. You can keep repeating this until the original problem of, how was the Universe created, is lost and you are left with, simply, what about before that happened!! "God, 'created' the Universe in his/her/its infinite wisdom", well that may well be, but then, who created God?? My answer to this theory... not possible.
Theory b: PARADOX A paradox is basically an impossible possibility!! For example: you sit on the floor, as you do so you notice an identical you walk towards you, he/she says,"I am you, I have just found a time machine and have used it to come back and give you this" he/she hands you an envilope,"when you find the time machine, please repeat this whole episode".with that he/she leaves, as you go to follow him/her you spot something sitting in the corner of the room, you guessed it, it is a time machine, you then repeat exactly what just occurred. Now, the paradox is the envelope, as you have always had it in your possession at some point in time: whence came the envelope? A paradox would, in theory, cause the Universe to be infinite(due to this being an impossible possibility!), and as we know that the 'big bang' happened, then there must be an implosion after the explosion. Then, of course you have the problem of a mixture of infinity and paradox, for if it is impossible to create or destroy, then the Universe must have been in creation infinitely. Maybe it works like the beating of a heart, exploding and then imploding alternately. So, the Universe, which may or may not be exploding and imploding repeatedly, would be, in itself, a working paradox, how can the universe have been created when nothing existed? As I stated earlier, you cannot 'create' anything, all you can do is to re-organize atomic structure. So, if creation is impossible, the theories, of the 'beginning' of the Universe, as we know it, have to be viewed under new consideration...(confusing? you bet!). You see, the theory of creating matter and anti-matter out of quantum fluctuations is fairly irrelevant, because before the cosmos there was nothing, nothing moving or otherwise, so a quantum fluctuation would, I think, have been impossible. My answer to this theory... not this one.
Theory c: INFINITY I Solar system....................cluster of Stars and planets. Galaxy................................cluster of Solar systems. Universe..........................cluster of Galaxies. Cosmos............................cluster of Universes. Macrocosmos.................cluster of Cosmoses.. ??.....................................cluster of Macrocosmoses. you may continue as you wish... As you walk, you look to your' companion and say, "if the Universe is infinite then all possibilities will be played out, then anything is possible", he agrees,"then somewhere in some version of this Earth when we get home our house will have been torn down and a church built in its place", again he agrees that, although unlikely, this would be a possibility. You then are closing on where your house was you see a church...(Not a very good example, I know, sorry. Hopefully it gets the point across though.)... Look at a star and its surrounding planets, then zoom out to look at the containing Solar system, then zoom out to look at the containing Galaxy, then zoom out to look at the containing Universe, then zoom out to look at the containing Cosmos, then zoom out to look at the containing Macrocosmos, get the idea?? Need I say more??? Of course this does not work if the process were to be reversed, if you reverse it you are left zooming in on particles and though they may appear as planets (electrons) orbiting a sun (nucleus), they are in fact quite different. I do not know, if in not being able to reverse this process it causes it to become less likely, but, it would indeed seem so. Now, if infinity existed, then, would there be every possibility played out? And if so, then the possibility of nothing existing ever, would surely cancel out the existence of infinity, and so then nothing would exist.... (Ouch my head!!!).... So if this little theory is correct then infinity is in-fact impossible!!...(With me so far???) Also, (this one is just in case!!) if infinity were to exist and every possibility played out, then the possibility of the afore-said infinity being contained within something would then clash with the possibility of it not, thus, in theory, canceling out infinity (now my head really hurts,,,how's yours?). My answer to this theory... only possible answer.
Theory d: INFINITY II This is a new one for me just thought of it. If infinity should carry out every possibility, and the Macrocosmos is, say, infinite, then would the possibility of existence and non-existence canceling each other out cause an explosion? One like the 'big bang' maybe?? When a particle of matter and a particle of anti-matter meet they cause an explosion as they cancel each other out, this in theory should also apply to the possibility of existence and the impossibility of existence, if this were to cause an explosion then could this have been the 'big bang'. There is another problem, if the Universe or Macrocosmos is infinite then we cannot find out how everything started, for infinity can have no start. Infinity should in theory work like a loop, oroborous, never ending or beginning. And so we have no "creation of existence" because there was no creation, the universe being a small part of the whole it does not matter if it was created by the "big bang" (which it was!) because this is only relevant to our selves, the creation of which is pertinent to our lives.
My answer to this theory... the same as infinity I. Theory e: ATOMIC STRUCTURING By this I mean an infinite chain of our Universe being a particle of a far greater atomic structuring, and the Universe to which this atomic structure belongs also being but a minute part of an again greater atomic structure. If you were to look into this deeply it still does not answer the question, how did it first start, although it may lend some clue. By zooming out from our universe you would see a network of particles, if you zoomed out again you would see the Universe that these particles belonged to, zoom out again and you would see, again, some particles. This process in theory should be repeatable infinitely. Now, again, if you were to reverse this process, then it fails, for if you look into a particle do you see a Universe??? I do not know that if by being unable to reverse this process it renders it impossible, I guess that is because if you have a starting point then you cannot have infinity. But what is inside an electron or a proton?
My answer to this theory... no. And so we have the answer, after I have eliminated the impossibilities then I am left with the only possible answer, infinity. Existence itself had no start or finish, it will never end, universes will form and die forever. If you have anything to add, or any comments please feel free to contact me.
