Solar System Scale Model Created for the East Midlands Region of the British Science Association

This web site allows you to design a model of the Solar System on a map and create a link to it.
You can drag the Sun to a new position or double-click the map to move the Sun to a new place.
You can drag planets to new position. They automatically adjust distance from Sun.

Working with the University of Nottingham we have designed posters to accompany your model. You can download a PDF of these posters in A4 format by clicking on "Download Posters"

We also have created some models of the Sun and planets on a scale of 1 : 2.5 billion which you can borrow if you are based in the East Midlands of England. A returnable deposit of £50 is required for this. Click on "Borrow Models" for details.
