| It was not easy for eukaryotic cells to live together. They needed to be able to communicate with each other, to share food and work together. Cells learnt to talk to each other by sending out chemical messages which other cells could react to. We call them hormones. They are still a major way in which cells talk to each other, even in our own bodies. | ||
