![]() | Worm Acres Composting KitClick for detailsIt's never too early to help save the environment. This kit includes a small, lidded composting bin (10 by 6.5 by 5.25 inches), starter compost bedding, an airflow filter, a water sprayer, a certificate for 250 live earthworms, and an instruction book. Once the worms arrive, they'll burrow into the compost starter and begin eating the melon rinds and apple cores you slip them. The book explains the principles of "vermicomposting" and contains a functional diagram of worm anatomy. Also included in the kit are stickers, vegetable seeds, a small coloring book, and a study guide for experiments. Warning: Open the kit outdoors. There are holes in both the composting bin and in the plastic bag of compost starter. (Ages 6 and older) |
