Time Trek

TimeTrek is a continental reconstruction animation program initially designed as an application for Atlas for Windows but has developed into a stand alone program. It allows the user to animate the continental fragments through time and view where each fragment was relative to each other on the surface of the globe. It can also plot any data (up to 32000 points worth!) in Atlas format at the same time. This has obvious uses for observing faunal distributions etc. with time.

This was the program we used to create the reconstructions of the continents shown in this web site.

The demo is similar to the standard version except it is restricted to showing from 20Ma to today.
